Luxury travel experts - Hospitality Afrika Safaris

Our KENYA

Steeped in safari history, Kenya is one of Africa’s finest safari locations. The Masai Mara which shares a border with Tanzania and forms an integral part of the Great Wildebeest Migration is a Kenya safari “hot spot”. The Amboseli National Park with Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop is well worth the visit.

While Kenya is renowned for its safaris, you will fall in love with the Masai culture and warm Kenyan hospitality on a guided cultural experience. Spending quality time on the Mombasa coastline is also worth consideration for the perfect bush and beach combination. With easy access to its East African neighbours, Kenya combines perfectly with Tanzania for an extended safari or Rwanda for a memorable gorilla trekking adventure.

More About Safaris to Kenya

It is the wide-open savannas and great wildebeest herds of the Masai Mara National Park which draws safari enthusiasts to Kenya every year. The Masai Mara shares a border with Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and plays a vital role in the annual Wildebeest Migration where thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle migrate through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. The crossing of the Mara River is one of Kenya’s greatest spectacles as the wildebeest tempt fate in search of the lush grasslands of the Mara. Timing is everything when planning your migration safari and our team of East Africa experts are on hand to help you put all the fine details together to ensure you get the most out of your East Africa safari.

The Masai Mara is a drawcard for any Kenya safari but it is by no means the only safari location worth exploring. The Amboseli National Park south east of the Mara is well worth the visit with an impressive variety of wildlife. The parks biggest attraction is the spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro which is clearly visible from the park and creates a unique backdrop while enjoying the varied wildlife.

Further north, Samburu National Park is renowned for its Big Cat sightings and stable Wild Dog population. A variety of private concessions within the region offer exclusive experiences of African wildlife, culture & wilderness in partnership with the local communities. With so much on offer, combining various regions into one safari is the best way to experience Kenya’s prolific wildlife.

The culture and community experience is as much a part of your Kenya safari as the wildlife encounters. Steeped in cultural history, the Masai will leave a lasting impression on you whether you simply engage with the staff at one of the luxury safari lodges or choose to head out into one of the many Masai communities during your stay.

After a thrilling safari we recommend you enjoy some quality down time in tropical beach setting and Kenya’s Mombasa Coast and Lamu Archipelago are the perfect fit. With so many remote beach settings available – all offering a variety of specialised vacations from honeymoons to family packages, picking the right location to fit your vacation is of utmost importance. Once we have prepared your ultimate migration safari we will gladly tag on quality time at the coast using one of our favourite beach hideaways.
