The Masai Mara shares a border with Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and plays a vital role in the annual Wildebeest Migration where thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle migrate through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. The crossing of the Mara River is one of Kenya’s greatest spectacles as the wildebeest tempt fate in search of the lush grasslands of the Mara. Further north, Samburu National Park is renowned for its Big Cat sightings and stable Wild Dog population.
