May 25, 2022 | Newsletters

Dear Friends,

t’s hard to believe that we are already well into 2022! With travel to Africa starting to pick up again, we are sure that you are ready to pack your binoculars and cameras, and head for an exciting safari.

We are ready to help you plan an exciting adventure with us and cross your dream vacation off your bucket list. Let’s make a difference and work on your next African Adventure together!

As South Africa is recovering from the unfortunate scourge of COVID-19, there is a great deal of excitement in our lodges and hotels as guests start to appear back with us again. We are ready to welcome everyone with open arms… we have YOU in mind!

Come with your family for a multi-generational experience or put a group together with friends. Not to mention our fabulous Honeymoon specials!

Don’t be afraid of the perceived “long flight” scenario. Think of the benefits at the end of the journey!

To enable a stress-free flight on the long-haul, United Airlines recently added another convenient nonstop option. Fly from NYC directly to Johannesburg (JNB), thanks to their new daily flight out of Newark. A seasonal flight into Cape Town begins soon for the convenience of our guests. So hop on board and enjoy 14 hours of peace and quiet – a great dinner, a good movie , no phones, no one to call your name and just a great opportunity to relax for the time on board. Delta flies direct from Atlanta as well, so this offers yet another option.

Cape Town, is our featured city for this edition of our newsletter – just to whet your appetite…

Cape Town is one of the most desirable vacation destinations in the world.

So much to see and do – from the Winelands to theBeach – from Gourmet Food to Farm2Table fare.

This port city on South Africa’s southwest coast, on a peninsula dominated by the iconic Table Mountain offers an exciting experience to our guests. Ride the cable car up Table Mountain to experience gorgeous views of the city, the busy harbour and boats heading for Robben Island, a World Heritage Site and a museum since 1997 acting as a focal point of South African heritage.

This vibrant metropolis has it all: stunning beaches, fine dining, and exciting entertainment. The beaches boast long stretches of white-gold sand and an incredible natural backdrop of towering mountains and cliffs. The city also has no shortage of world-class restaurants, several award-winning wineries, and plenty of attractions. With its rich culture and incredible flora and fauna, it’s no wonder Cape Town is one of the top travel destinations in the world.

Explore Kirstenbosch Gardens with its fynbos and various floral kingdoms found across the African continent. Put on your hiking boots and hike Lion’s Head just before sunset and watch in awe as the huge horizon deepens to pink and burnishes the ocean, while the city lights twinkle below and don’t forget to visit the V&A Waterfront, home to 22 historic landmarks.

Visit Cape Town for an unforgettable adventure and enjoy all it has to offer through exclusively tailored experiences to satisfy your personal preference. This city proves you really can have it all – beaches, food, mountains, wildlife, history, culture, wine, and adventure sports.

And now for our favourite pastime – taking you on a safari with Hospitality Afrika Safaris!

East Africa – Kenya, Tanzania’s Serengeti would be our suggestion for your “right now” 2022 safari – as the experience is fabulous and available. The migration is almost under way, and this would be a good time to travel and enjoy this incredible experience.

Add Rwanda for the gorillas, Botswana, with Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia as well, which offer everything you need for a healthy and safe trip in abundance – wide open spaces, remote locations, and the opportunity to get in touch with nature and wildlife and reawaken your soul. Fabulous new lodges to enjoy.

By the way – Did you realise that you will be making a huge difference by going on safari? Not only will your incoming dollars support local communities, but sustainable tourism will also ensure ongoing conservation efforts to enable the continuity of our wildlife to live and thrive in their natural habitats.
